Suffering in Silence
Studies show that up to 73% of ridden horses suffer from pain or lameness.
Around 50% of riders interpret their horse’s pain response as behavioural issues, for which the horse is then punished.
It’s about time we slow things down and take a closer look at our horses. We must learn to read the subtle signs of pain and to take swift action to find the source and then correct it. No horse should be asked to do anything when it is in pain.
